As usual my lovelies, here’s how my week went, in no particular order:
- A couple of thousand words this week, which feels like I’m going backwards! However the scenes were quite dialog heavy and plot-critical, which is not ‘flowy’ for me. The upside is that I get to have out-loud conversations with myself and not look like my cheese finally fell of my cracker.
- Had my second vaccination this week. I haven’t had any of the nightmare symptoms other than an achy left arm. This is nowhere near as bad as *I* can make it. I took myself to the emergency room once when I woke up not being able to feel or move it. The Doctor said ‘Do you sleep on your arm?’, ‘Yes.’ I said. ‘Well… don’t do that.’ – was his diagnosis. I think I’d lost a few brain cells that night.
- The jab has left me with some sleep routine fuckery though. I’m awake and dressed at the weirdest hours and seem to be sleeping in four-hour stints. But, ya know, go with the flow, I always say. Not like I have work in the morning.
- Had my first lump of paperwork to fill in for the house sale. Twenty odd pages, I reckon. With questions like ‘Where is the safety certificate for the plug socket you had installed in 2014’ – which really makes me want to scoop out my eyes with a rusty spoon. I’m not terrible with paperwork, but there’s an infinite number if things I’d rather be doing.
- I also know that drinking a Berocca at 01:38 is not helping with the sleep thing. I’m looking forward to the wall-climbing at 07. Toodles, chaps and chapesses.
