As usual my lovelies, here’s how my week went, in no particular order:
- Well, chaps and chapesses, I did it. I have officially quit the rat race to live by the sea and write books. It was a little emotional closing the door on the house of course, but I really haven’t looked back.
Finally discovered my ‘sleeping on the floor limit’ – it’s four days, six if there’s a futon involved, By limit, I mean how long I can sleep on the floor without waking up crying ugly tears. I’m just built for comfort, not hardwood floors.
- When I finally climbed into a real bed, I cried. There’s been a lot of crying this week. Stress crying, happy crying, pissed off crying, grateful crying, dog-tired crying, I hadn’t realised there were so many types of crying. I’ll let you know if I discover any more.
- So I’m now getting into the swing of things living by the sea.Every morning I’ve resolved to walk along the sea front, meditate and have my little writing-nook meetings in the sea front cafe. I’ve bought a little chromebook which I’m still getting used to but its a cute little thing and does exactly what I need it to do.
- I want to learn how to long-board. Stay tuned to see how I do.
