As usual my lovelies, here’s how my week went, in no particular order:
- I was pondering at 3am. As my girl cat was pawing my bedlinen and trying to latch on to the loose skin on my elbow (that’s what elbow skin is for, by the way). What exactly is the difference between being a dog owner and being a cat owner. At 3.05am I concluded: If a cat loves you, you get claws and teeth. Cat owners are made of tougher stuff.
- It’s 4.25am now (I respect my circadian rhythms; go me). I’ve further concluded that it also includes headless corpses. Boy cat has a penchant for heads. Gosh, that all went a bit ‘goth’ didn’t it?
- My potential-house-purchasers came and went last week. They decided not to buy since the house was too close to a road. This prompts more pondering; they’d have decided that when walking to my door. Why did they cross my threshold at all? Hold on, I need to reboot and switch off goth.exe in startup programs.
- I thought it would be sweet to video call my Dad yesterday, and we had a good old chat for about thirty seconds. His video seized up and what followed was a hilarious ‘mash the keys and see what happens’ tech support call which somehow moved from his laptop to his mobile phone and back again. I laughed so hard I think I peed.
- Solstice is coming, guys. This means that Christmas goods will be in stores next week and my sister will start her countdown.
